Celebrity Cruises has revealed the destination and dates for the 2025 President’s Cruise after recently concluding the 2024 sailing. This exclusive event will be hosted for the first time in a new location.

In May 2025, Celebrity Apex will embark on a roundtrip voyage from Southampton, UK, taking guests through the magnificent Norwegian Fjords.

The cruise will set sail on May 17, 2025, offering a range of unique events and activities exclusive to this trip. One of the main attractions for travelers is the chance for Captain’s Club members to meet and interact with Laura Hodges Bethge, President of Celebrity Cruises, and other executive team members.

During the cruise, executives will engage with travelers not only for photos and comments but to gather valuable feedback and suggestions, which will be considered for future improvements to Celebrity Cruises’ offerings.

“It is incredibly rewarding to hear guests’ stories and experience Celebrity through their eyes,” said Laura Hodges Bethge. “The feedback and ideas we receive while onboard are instrumental in shaping the future of Celebrity Cruises, allowing us to innovate and enhance our offerings in ways that truly resonate with our guests.”

The President’s Cruise will also feature unique activities. While the specific details for 2025 are yet to be announced, past events included performances from the Team USA Artistic Swimming team, Guinness World Record holding hula hoopers, and an Officers vs. Guests pool volleyball game.

Additionally, premium shore excursions, extra meet-and-greet sessions, new menu items, and other exclusive perks are typically part of these special sailings, which are expected to sell out rapidly.

The 2025 President’s Cruise will depart Southampton, UK, on May 17 for an 8-night journey through the Norwegian Fjords, with stops in Zeebrugge, Belgium, and four unique destinations in eastern Norway: Olden, Geiranger, Alesund, and Bergen. The itinerary also includes two days at sea.

The 130,818-gross-ton Celebrity Apex joined the Celebrity Cruises fleet in 2020 and is familiar with Norwegian waters. Currently homeported in Southampton through October 2024, the ship offers a variety of itineraries including Norwegian Fjords, Best of Scandinavia, and Arctic Circle trips, as well as cruises to Spain, Portugal, Iceland, Ireland, and the Canary Islands.

The ship will reposition to Fort Lauderdale for the winter season in the Caribbean, starting with a 12-night transatlantic cruise from Southampton to Florida on November 4, 2024. Celebrity Apex will return to Southampton in April 2025, ahead of the President’s Cruise.

The Edge-class ship can accommodate 3,405 guests and is staffed by over 1,300 international crew members.

The 2024 President’s Cruise

The 2024 President’s Cruise just concluded at the end of June aboard Celebrity Beyond, sister ship to Celebrity Apex, on a 6-night Caribbean itinerary.

This year’s cruise was particularly special as it highlighted Perfect Day at CocoCay, a new destination for Celebrity Cruises and a top spot in the Royal Caribbean Group. Activities included performances by jet ski and flyboard stunt performers, Caribbean junkanoo bands, and more.

The cruise also made stops in Grand Cayman and Bimini, each offering unique shore tours and exclusive experiences for travelers. The event concluded with a grand fireworks display in Bimini before heading back to Port Everglades.

The 2025 President’s Club cruise will be the first since the Royal Caribbean Group announced an unprecedented one-for-one loyalty tier match across all its brands – Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean International, and Silversea. This unique offering provides unparalleled benefits to all travelers, regardless of their preferred cruising style.
