American Serenade Passes Sea Trials, Heads for New Orleans
American Cruise Lines’ newest Mississippi riverboat passed sea trials this week. The gleaming American Serenade is on the way to New Orleans for the inaugural season.
American Serenade Delivered to American Cruise Lines
American Cruise Lines announced that it has accepted delivery of the American Serenade from Chesapeake Shipbuilding.
American Serenade is the 6th riverboat in the Lineโs groundbreaking new series. It is the 18th small ship built by Chesapeake Shipbuilding for American Cruise Lines.
The new 180-passenger boat is en route to join the companyโs expanding Mississippi River fleet to begin plying the famous waterway this month.
American Serenadeโs first cruise is set to depart on April 20th from New Orleans. While visiting Vidalia, Louisiana, American Cruise Lines will christen the new riverboat on April 23rd during the inaugural cruise.
