Oceania Cruises Launches Exciting New Voyages in East Asia
Oceania Cruises, the boutique cruise line known for its exceptional cuisine and immersive itineraries, has launched a new series of East Asia voyages for the winter and spring of 2025.
These voyages will take guests to some of the most exotic destinations, including Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Bali, China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Cruises range in duration from 6 to 24 days.
Guests can look forward to small-group excursions that focus on local cuisine, natural attractions, and remote destinations, offering a deep dive into regional culture and lifestyles.
“Asia is one of the most striking regions in the world to explore by sea; the powerful contrasts between its ultra-modern and historic influences are breathtaking,” said Frank A. Del Rio, president of Oceania Cruises.
“Through our thoughtful itineraries and our incredible array of immersive small group tours, guests can enjoy the region’s timeless heritage and impressive futuristic strides in one trip – making guests feel like they’re traveling through time,” Del Rio added.
Shore excursions provide hands-on experiences, such as cooking classes in Thailand and visits to local markets in Vietnam. Guests can also book Go Green tours that highlight sustainability initiatives or Wellness Discovery Tours for a focus on mind-body connections.
Oceania Cruises, part of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, operates six small ships, each accommodating up to 1,240 guests. A seventh vessel, Allura, is under construction.
Allura will be the second ship in the Allura-class, following Vista, which debuted in May 2024. After a recent float-out at the Fincantieri shipyard in Italy, Allura is set to join the fleet in summer 2025.
Itineraries Feature Overnights in Exotic Destinations
The shortest voyage in the new East Asia series is a 6-day cruise departing April 3, 2025, from Singapore aboard the 656-guest Regatta, exploring the Malay Peninsula.
A longer option includes a 15-day sailing, also on Regatta, departing April 9, 2025, from Singapore to Taipei. This voyage features overnights in Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hong Kong.
For those with more time, a 20-day voyage departs June 3, 2025, from Hong Kong to Bali aboard Regatta, with stops in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Singapore, and cruising the South China Sea.
Guests seeking an extended adventure can book a 24-day voyage aboard the 1,240-guest Riviera, departing February 14, 2025, from Tokyo to Singapore. This itinerary includes stops at Boracay Island, Sultanate of Brunei, and Borneo, with overnights in Tokyo, Jakarta, and Bali.
Bookings for the 2025 East Asia collection may include amenities such as roundtrip airfare, airport transfers, shore excursion credits, and a beverage package under the “simply More” fare promotion.
All Oceania Cruises fares include specialty restaurant dining, WiFi, 24-hour room service, and non-alcoholic beverages like coffee, tea, soda, and water.
Oceania Cruises revealed its summer 2025 cruise series in early 2024, offering over 100 sailings and 40 Grand Voyages. Following their East Asia deployments in winter/spring 2025, Regatta will head to the South Pacific for summer 2025, while Riviera will sail Alaska cruises from Seattle.
Oceania’s newest ship, Vista, will visit Scandinavia, the British Isles, and Norwegian fjords, while Allura will spend her inaugural season in the Mediterranean. Other ships in the fleet include Sirena, Marina, Insignia, and Nautica.
