Oceania Cruises is Adding More Solo Staterooms – Good News for Us Solo Cruisers!
Oceania Cruises will add nearly five dozen new dedicated solo staterooms on four of its ships. The cruise line, as part of its OceaniaNEXT program, will also add new enrichment shore excursions focusing on architecture and the environment.
When Will Oceania Cruises Add the New Solo Staterooms?
Each of Oceania Cruises’ four ships will add 14 solo oceanview staterooms by the end of this year. The line will roll out the new solo staterooms aboard Regatta on September 25, 2022 and Nautica on September 26, 2022.
Then on October 1, 2022, both Insignia and Sirena will debut their new solo staterooms.
The cruise line’s newest ship to launch in 2022, Vista, features solo staterooms with verandahs; Concierge Level Solo Staterooms. So popular are these staterooms that it’s tough to snag one of these pricier solo staterooms.
The spacious Concierge Level Solo Veranda Staterooms feature a comfortable sitting area adjacent to the private veranda. There’s a separate sleeping area, bath and plenty of storage space.
Solo travelers in these Vista Concierge new solo staterooms will have all the expected Concierge Level amenities. These include free laundry services, unlimited visits to the Aquamar Spa Terrace and key card access to the exclusive Concierge Lounge.
“One of the greatest factors in Oceania Cruises’ success is that we not only listen to the feedback our guests and travel partners provide, we act on it. Our guests and travel partners wanted more options for solo travelers and more diverse tour offerings, and we are delighted to deliver,” stated Howard Sherman, President & CEO of Oceania Cruises.
