Starting January 2025, Holland America Line will introduce 15 exciting new shows on their Grand World Voyage and Grand Voyage: Pole to Pole cruises, according to a press release.

These shows will debut at various points during the extensive journeys of both cruises.

Developed by celebrated producer Blackburn International, each Grand Voyage will feature a cast of eight talented singers and dancers performing 15 new productions. Each show will have its own unique theme, paying tribute to pop and rock legends like Carole King, the Carpenters, Eagles, and Fleetwood Mac. With titles such as “The Sounds of Summer,” “Solid Gold,” and “Crossroads,” Holland America Line promises a diverse array of performances throughout the cruise.

โ€œHolland America Line has never introduced this many shows at one time,โ€ said Bill Prince, vice president of entertainment for Holland America Line. โ€œThe Grand Voyages are the longest itineraries we offer, and itโ€™s important to keep the entertainment fresh for our returning guests. The new shows are a diverse collection of music genres to appeal to a wide variety of tastes.โ€

The 15 new shows will feature headline entertainers and local performers mixed in with Holland America Lineโ€™s production shows and resident musicians, including a classical trio and a dance band on both ships.ย

Guest chefs, who specialize in the cuisine of the regions where the ship is sailing, will join select segments of each Grand Voyage to share their culinary expertise. These chefs will offer live cooking demonstrations for guests and participate in an informative โ€œcoffee chat.โ€

Their cuisine will also be showcased at an exclusive, reservation-only dinner at Pinnacle Grill. Signature appetizers and main dishes from the guest chefs will be highlighted on the Dining Room menu while they are on board.

Additional activities include dance classes such as ballroom or beginnersโ€™ ballet, arts and crafts classes like watercolor painting, origami, and creative writing, pickleball lessons from the shipโ€™s sports director, tai chi on deck, and more.

In 2025, the Zuiderdam will embark on a 124-day Grand World Voyage, roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Departing on January 4, 2025, the ship will travel the globe, visiting 49 ports in 30 countries across six continents. The Volendam will set sail on a 133-day Grand Voyage: Pole to Pole, also roundtrip from Fort Lauderdale. Departing on January 25, the ship will cruise down the coast of South America to Antarctica, and then up to the Arctic, visiting 69 ports across five continents and 26 countries.
