Virgin Voyages Adds Visits to Cuba for Inaugural Season
Heading to Havana
Virgin Voyages just announced that their first ship, Scarlet Lady, will include visits to Cuba as one of the islands in the new ship’s itineraries for 2020.
After extensive consumer research was conducted in North America and the United Kingdom, it was learned that Cuba ranked high in the results of places people wanted to visit. So of course a visit to Havana would be on the to-do list of port calls.

โVirgin Atlantic has been visiting Cuba for 13 years, and I cannot wait to see our iconic Scarlet Lady gleaming in the Havana Harbor,โ said Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson. โHavana is the perfect place for our sailors to go and experience a city that exudes an irresistible energy and passion.โ
Every cruise to Cuba aboard the adult’s only (18-yrs +) Scarlet Lady, will have an overnight stay in Havana. With a longer visit, you could stroll through Old Havana, hit the nightlife at a salsa club, participate in the people-to-people exchanges or just enjoy the ambiance of this colonial city. OFAC-compliant shore excursions will be offered as well.
Sailing dates and reservations for Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady, including Cuba cruises, will be announced in 2019. Stay tuned for more updates.
