Thanks for reading my Wonder review. I really enjoyed that ship. There really isn’t a “best” side to book your balcony stateroom. It used to be a given that a port side stateroom would give you a view of the city when you docked. Now, I’d say it’s a 60/40 chance. Depends on wind, current and probably other factors that determine if port side will really dock on the port side. I usually try to book port side, but even then, it doesn’t always happen. Hi Gail, thank you SO much for reading the Wonder review and your detailed comment. I agree with everything you wrote. For the water show, I arrived without a reservation and found a tall chair at the very top of the seating rows. It was perfect because it was where the woman was harnessed in to “float” across and over the audience to the pool. Same, too, about Voices…the images were distracting. I’m almost your age so I totally get it! LOL.

We were able to make reservations for all shows with no problem, but without reservations you were able to walk up and usually get in to shows. I found the Ice show amazing, The Voices show was good, but I would of left out all the pics flashing on the screens while they were singing. It distracted from the singers, we were all trying to figure out who they were , we are 70 and could not recognize any. Then I got to thinking it was maybe, like We are the world singing, and maybe it was like that. The Water show was also good, but the water shows also seem to take away from the dancers, We overall loved the ship. The room service was right on time each morning with coffee, the main dining room was good, We really enjoyed the Adult pool area. I already have another booked for when they get back to USA.
