Virgin Voyages Announces Scarlet Lady Itineraries
There’s a variety of itineraries for Scarlet Lady
Like just about everything else from Virgin Voyages, Scarlet Lady’s itineraries are totally different from the rest of the pack.
To begin with, departures from the ship’s home port in Miami will be at 7 pm, not the usual 4 pm or 5 pm. Considering Virgin is building their own cruise ship terminal, they can set their own hours.
So far, no seven-day cruises are planned
Havana After Dark
The Scarlet Lady will offer four and five-night Havana After Dark itineraries to Cuba. With with an overnight stay in Havana, Sailors will have plenty of time to explore and participate in the people-to-people exchange program. One of the legal reasons for visiting Cuba, cruise ship passengers can meet and interact with Cuba’s residents.
Mayan Sol
Virgin Voyages’ Mayan Sol itinerary will be a five-night voyage to Costa Maya, Mexico. A small cruise port but conveniently located near Mayan ruins and off-shore coral reefs. Virgin Voyages has partnered with ITM Group to bring Sailors to this incredible paradise filled with rich history and excitement.
Dominican Daze
Scarlet Lady’s Dominican Daze voyages sail to Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic for a five-night cruise. Puerto Plata offers a surf school, canyons to hike and a cable car ride up the mountain.
Reservations are opening soon for Scarlet Lady’s inaugural 2020 season on Valentine’s Day, February 14. Virgin Voyages will reveal more details about the ship’s onboard experience as well as an additional destination to be featured on all voyages. Details about on-shore experiences offered by Virgin Voyages, or Shore Things as they refer to them, will be released in late 2019.
