Hi Pat, Thanks for writing…I hope you both are fine. Amtrak under the last Amtrak president was really going down the clinker and I don’t know yet about the new guy. But there may be a ray of hope in sight for reinstating “proper” train dining someday.

Thank you for continuing to publish. My spouse and I loved lunches and dinners in train dining cars. Meals were more enjoyable as we watched beautiful scenery glide by.
You probably are safer in Sitka than in Florida or Arizona.
