Wine Spectator Magazine knows a good restaurant wine list. The outstanding wine list from Fahrenheit 555 steakhouses aboard Carnival Vista, Carnival Breeze and Carnival Sunshine has garnered the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for 2017 for Restaurants. Even restaurants at sea.

This year, 2,335 restaurants won the award. The Award of Excellence category, recognizes restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, pair well with the food and appeal to a wide range of wine enthusiasts. In order to qualify, all the information on the wine list must be complete and accurate and include the vintage and appellation for every selections. And finally, even the overall presentation of the list is under scrutiny.

Wine Spectator awards are given across three categories: Award of Excellence, Best of Award of Excellence and Grand Award. Winners of the Award of Excellence typically offer at least several dozen selections, feature a well-chosen assortment of quality vineyards, along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style.

Some of the best wine regions in the world are represented in the wine lists aboard Carnival Vista, Carnival Breeze and Carnival Sunshine. The wines are personally selected by Carnival’s beverage professionals. Bottles are kept in temperature and climate-controlled EuroCave cellars.

Fahrenheit 555 steakhouses on Carnival Vista, Carnival Breeze and Carnival Sunshine offer a selection of dry-aged steaks, appetizers, side dishes and desserts for an upscale dining experience.
