For those that aren’t familiar with Norwegian Cruise Line’s Cirque Dreams performances, Cirque Dreams is an aerobatic, acrobatic, high energy and audience-participation after-dinner theater. The performance actually begins when coffee and dessert are served.

Beginning last week aboard the Norwegian Breakaway, guests at Cirque Dreams dinner show will be treated to a totally new Cirque Dreams Performance. Called, “Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy” it’s coming to the Breakaway direct from a Broadway engagement.

Next month, Cirque Dreams will debut another new show aboard Norwegian Epic, labeled “Cirque Dreams Epicurean.” Under the Norwegian Epic’s Spiegel Tent Theater, this new show begins with an epicurean dining experience that includes interactive performers. After dinner, the amazing 45-minute performance begins.

In time for a summer season in Europe, the Illusionarium on Norwegian Getaway will be the staging grounds for the new Cirque Dreams and Steam.

While the performance theme mirrors Cirque de Soleil-style acrobatic feats, it’s the ability for up-close performances and interaction with guests that really gives Norwegian’s Cirque Dreams shows an extra punch.

Don’t look too enthusiastic while watching the show though or you may be called up to “assist” in the interactive portion of the show. If you do, expect a lot of laughs and a little embarrassment. All in great fun.

To help with your Norwegian cruise planning, the Norwegian Epic returns to Port Canaveral for a Caribbean sailing season beginning November 18 through March 2018.

The Norwegian Breakaway returns to New York City in October this year for 7-night winter Bahamas cruises that include a visit to Port Canaveral.

Rounding out Cirque Dreams cruise opportunities, the Norwegian Getaway returns to Miami from Europe for 7-night western Caribbean cruises that includes a visit to their newest island destination, Harvest Caye off the coast of Belize.
