Baywatch Fans – David Hasselhoff Cruise Has Just Sailed

A bit of fluff and circumstance for a Monday morning. David Hasselhoff is the host aboard Costa Favolosa, cruising the Western Med. That’s right. The entire cruise dedicated to TV’s famous Baywatch lifeguard, the 6’4″ tall, 65-year old David Hasselhoff.

David Hasselhoff is the celebrity host to over 600 fans aboard the Costa Favolosa on a five-day western Med cruise, who booked specifically for this event. The cruise departed from Savona, Italy on November 4 and will visit Civitavecchia, Barcelona and Marseille.

While onboard, Hasselhoff will perform two concerts (I didn’t even know he could sing!) in the main theater to perform his biggest hits (?), act a DJ, hold autograph and meet and greet sessions.

I remember him best from Knight Rider (1982) when he played a crime fighter who drove a talking car. When Knight Rider ended and before Baywatch began (1989) Hasselhoff became a musical celebrity in Germany where he released nine albums. Who knew!
