Oddly Cunard doesn’t offer 10 as a choice on its pre-boarding options, but if you choose the largest table size you might be allocated to a ten-seat (as I was on my outward TA) or can ask to move to one once on board (as I did on my return).

You are so right. Open seating for solo passengers is awkward…at least it is for me. While I do like to dine alone, on the rate occasion when a larger party invites me to join, it’s a welcome relief…especially on longer voyages. Happy cruising!

It is great to include a solo person at your dinner table or activity. We’ve met some lovely people, who happen to travel on their own. Previously, I travelled as a single and found the open seating at dinner very difficult as despite requests from the maitre’d, few people wanted a 3rd or 5th person at their table.
