Celebrity Cruises Offers New Galapagos Glamping Experience
Glamping at sea, under the stars
When Celebrity Flora debuts in May 2019, it will be the first ship designed specially for exploring the Galapagos Islands. Keeping with “firsts” Celebrity Floria will offer another industry first: a camping experience on the top deck of the luxury yacht. It will allow guests to dine, drink and sleep under the stars.
“Celebrity Flora was specifically designed to bring our guests closer to the Galapagos Islands than ever before – from its outward-facing design that takes guests to the water’s edge, to the enhanced custom-designed Novurania yacht tenders,” said Lisa Lutoff-Perlo, President and CEO, Celebrity Cruises. “And now our new Galapagos Glamping experience gives guests an incredible opportunity to experience the destination the ship was built for, on a whole new level, under the millions of stars above.”
Galapagos glamping explained
The Celebrity Flora glamping experience will allow four guests per night to book this top deck experience. Glamping reservations include two luxurious cabanas, one fitted with a double bed for sleeping, and the other for enjoying a mouthwatering, alfresco meal.
Galapagos Glamping was created to bring guests closer to this incredible destination. A naturalist familiar with astronomy will be on hand to point out the stars and constellations visible from this region of the world.

Campfire-inspired culinary delights – from cocktails to carefully selected wines to s’mores – will be specially curated for the evening. The Galapagos Glamping experience also includes a fabulous dinner. When the sun comes up, glampers will be treated to a full bed-side breakfast.
Celebrity Flora begins her inaugural season, alternating 10- and 11-night Galapagos cruise tours. Guests may also choose a 16-night itinerary for 2019 and 2020.
Celebrity Cruises’ Celebrity Flora will make her debut sailing on May 26, 2019, based in Baltra Island in the Galapagos. The exclusive Celebrity Flora Glamping experience is available upon request and has an additional cost. The Galapagos glamping experience is available on all Celebrity Flora sailings, on a first come, first served basis.
