There’s always uncertainty when tracking a hurricane’s path and Hurricane Dorian is no exception. Cruise ships that depart from Florida as well as other southeast US cruise ports have had to change or modify their itineraries.

Carnival Sunshine: Departure today (Monday) 9/02/19 now at 6:00 PM. Guests must be onboard by 5:00PM. The visit to Half Moon Cay is canceled. They suggest that if you are driving to the port and are unable to use I26, to consider taking Hwy 61 or Hwy 17. Also, the cruise line recommends using Waze traffic app to stay current on road conditions in real time.

Carnival Ecstasy:  Departure 09/05/19 – Carnival is still deciding. There is a possibility Carnival Ecstasy will not be able to return to Jacksonville on Thursday. If the port is closed, the ship will be in position to dock as soon as the authorities have reopened the port.

Carnival Liberty: Departure 09/02/19 – This cruise is cancelled. Guests will receive a full refund of their cruise fare and any pre-purchased items.

Carnival Elation: Departure 09/02/19 – Will now operate as a 2-day sailing departing Thursday, 9/05 and returning Saturday, 9/07. Port of call: To be determined.

Carnival Horizon: Departure 09/01/19 – PortMiami is closed and expected to reopen no earlier than Wednesday. Carnival now plans to operate a 3-day cruise, departing on Wednesday 9/04 and returning Saturday 9/07. The itinerary will visit Nassau on Thursday from 9:00AM to 5:00PM.

Carnival VictoryDeparture 9/02/19 – Will now be a 2-day sailing leaving on Wednesday, 9/04 and returning Friday, 9/06. Port of call: Key West on 9/05.

Already departed:

Carnival Liberty:  8/30/19 – This cruise will return on Thursday, 9/5. Modified itinerary: Nassau, Costa Maya and Cozumel.

Carnival Victory:  8/30/19 – This cruise will return on Wednesday, 9/4. Modified itinerary: Key West and Cozumel.

Carnival Breeze:  8/31/19 – No change to itinerary.

Carnival Conquest:  8/31/19 – No change to itinerary.

Carnival Ecstasy:  8/31/19 – Modified itinerary: Princess Cays has been replaced with a visit to Key West on 9/02. Nassau, scheduled for Tuesday, has been canceled.

Carnival Magic:  8/31/19 – No change to itinerary.

Carnival Paradise:  8/31/19 – No change to itinerary.

Carnival Sensation:  8/31/19 – Modified itinerary: Grand Turk and Amber Cove. Visits to Half Moon Cay and Nassau have been canceled.

Carnival Miracle:  9/01/19 – Departed on 8/31/19 as an 8 day cruise. No change to itinerary.

Carnival Pride:  9/01/19 – Departed 9/01 on a modified itinerary to Grand Turk and Amber Cove. Calls to Half Moon Cay and Freeport have been cancelled.

DISNEY CRUISE LINE

Disney Dream:  CCurrent sailing was scheduled to return to Port Canaveral on Wednesday, September 4. However, there is uncertainty if Port Canaveral will be able to reopen on Wednesday. Because of this, they now expect Disney Dream to return to Port Canaveral on Thursday, September 5. A port call is scheduled for Monday, September 2, in Grand Cayman.

Disney Dream: Departure for Wednesday, September 4 is cancelled.

Norwegian Cruise Line

Both Norwegian Sun and Norwegian Breakaway were rerouted to New Orleans and will end their itineraries in New Orleans on Sept. 3, 2019. The next departures for both cruise ships have been cancelled.

Royal Caribbean

 

Allure of the Seas: 8/24/19 The sailing is extended and will return to Fort Lauderdale on Wednesday, 9/04/19 The 9/01/19 sailing will now depart on 9/04/19.

Empress of the Seas:  8/24/19 departure will return to Miami on Wednesday, 9/04/19 with added visits to Roatan on 8/31/19 and George Town, Grand Cayman on 9/02/19. The 9/01/19 departure will now leave on 9/04/19.

Harmony of the Seas:  8/25/19 departure has been extended and will return to Port Canaveral on Wednesday, 9/04/19. They’ve added an additional visit to Cozumel on 8/31/19 and will stay there until 9/01/19. The 9/01/19 departure is on Wednesday, 9/04/19 and will cruise to Labadee to arrive on 9/06/19.

Majesty of the Seas: 8/28/19 sailing has been extended and will return on Wednesday, 9/04/19. The ship will overnight in Cozumel on 8/31/19 before returning to Miami on 09/04/19. The Majesty’s 9/02/19 sailing will now depart on Wednesday, 9/04/19. The itinerary will remain the same for the days left of the cruise.

Mariner of the Seas:8/30/19 sailing is extended and will return to Port Canaveral on Wednesday, 9/04/19. Added is Cozumel on 9/01/19 and Costa Maya on 9/02/19, one sea day on 9/03/19. The 9/02/19 cruise will depart on 9/04/19, instead of 9/02/19.

Navigator of the Seas:8/30/19 sailing is extended and will return to Miami on Wednesday, 9/04/19. Added is Costa Maya on 9/01/19 and Cozumel on 9/02/19 and one sea day on 9/03/19. The 9/02/19 Sailing will depart on 9/04/19 instead of 9/02/19.

Symphony of the Seas:8/31/19 sailing is extended and will return to Miami on Wednesday, 9/04/19. A stop at Costa Maya has been added. The 9/03/19 sailing is shortened and will now depart on Wednesday, 9/04/19. The sea day is gone but the port calls are the same.
