Thank you SO much for reading my article and leaving a terrific comment that’s more up to date. I read that Dave now has a “real” restaurant and I can’t wait to visit. I don’t know if he remembers me from way back then but hopefully he does. I will check out the new place on social and see what’s happening. A roof and walls! I’m so happy for him…and for everyone that has a chance to have a meal at Lobster Dave’s.

However as of today 1s April 2021 that is no longer the scenario. The little patch you 1st saw has now been redeveloped and replaced with proper infrastructure and restaurant spaces, This spot is the original fisherman’s village and have now been given the attention it deserves.
But not to worry Lobster Dave is STILL there now with roof, walls and ample seating 🤗 and making the same great dishes, along with a number of other great seafood restaurants. for an updated view check them out on Social media Ocho Rios Fishing Village, You’ll see that Theyve come a long way since then.
