Cruise to Bermuda!
There’s a unique opportunity from Jacksonville in 2018. Board Carnival Elation in Jacksonville for an eight-day cruise to Bermuda and onto the Bahamas, too. The cruise will sail round-trip from Jacksonville on April 7-15, 2018, and feature an overnight stay in Heritage Wharf, Bermuda, as well as an extended stay at the private Bahamian island of Half Moon Cay.
Because it’s an overnight visit, there will be plenty of time to wiggle your toes in Bermuda’s legendary pink sand beaches, try snorkeling, kayaking and other water sports. There’s transportation to visit historic landmarks such as Royal Naval Dockyard and Gibb’s Hill Lighthouse, the oldest cast iron lighthouse in the Western Hemisphere.
Half Moon Cay in the Bahamas is a private island, under the Holland America umbrella. The island is crescent-shaped with beautiful white-sand beaches, a pirate-themed water park, private cabanas and shore excursions that include paddle-boarding, biking and more.
Carnival Elation will also offer a special three-port, six-day Bahamas cruise round-trip from Jacksonville April 15-21, 2018, visiting visit Freeport, Nassau and Half Moon Cay.
Cruise to Bermuda on more Carnival ships!
Throughout 2018, Carnival will cruise to Bermuda a total of 19 times with four- to eight-day cruises. Departure ports include six East Coast cities: New York, Baltimore, Charleston, Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale.
For example, there’s an eight-day cruise to Bermuda from Florida’s Space Coast departing from Port Canaveral on Sept 21, 2018 aboard the recently refurbished Carnival Sunshine. After two sea days, Carnival Sunshine will overnight in King’s Wharf, Bermuda. From there, the ship will spend a day at sea for an all-day stay in Grand Turk, in the Caicos Islands.
If you’ve never been to Grand Turk, you’ll find it is a wonderful place to spend the day either at the beach, exploring the small town or hanging down the beach at Jack’s Shack or shopping and swimming at the sprawling cruise entertainment complex with a two-story Margaritaville.
