Viking Cruises Announces New 161-Day World Cruise
If a world cruise to six continents and 75 ports in a mere 161 days sounds like a dream…newsflash: it’s reality. And twice as long as it took Phileas Fogg in Jules Verne’s novel.
Viking Cruises World Cruise will send their 930-passenger Viking Sun literally chasing the sunset. On December 14, 2020, Viking Sun begins an amazing westward voyage from Miami en route to London, arriving nearly five and one-half months later.
Viking World Cruise itinerary
After a Panama Canal transit, making the transition from the Atlantic to Pacific Ocean, Viking Sun will set sail for Hawai’i with first-ever visits to Honolulu, Oahu and Nawiliwili, Kauai.
In a nutshell, Viking Sun will continue on from Hawai’i into the South Pacific; Asian ports that include Hong Kong and Bangkok and then through the Suez Canal and onto the Middle East. Here, port calls include cities in Oman, Jordan, Egypt and Israel. Onto the Mediterranean and finally through the Straits of Gibraltar, making a right turn and the final stretch to London, England.
Viking Cruises includes shore excursions in every port.
