Holland America Adds Another Ship for Alaska Cruises 2017
Holland America will bring a 7th ship for Alaska cruises next season
It’s been a booming season this year for Alaska cruises with many travelers choosing to cruise closer to home. Seeing this as a trend that may continue into next year, Holland America will take Oosterdam off their 2017 Mediterranean itinerary and instead the ship will head north for a season of Alaska cruises.
Including the Oosterdam in 2017, Holland America will have seven ships plying Alaska’s waterways. In total, Holland America will have a record number of 135 scheduled Alaska departures next year, topping all other cruise lines’ Alaska presence.
Beginning late April and continuing through late September, there will be a total of 126 seven-night cruises and nine 14-night cruises.
