Alaskan Dream Cruises just released their new Alaska Inside Passage expeditions cruises. Owned by native Alaskans, the cruise line is celebrating its ninth season cruising Alaska.
Here’s what you will find for 2019 Inside Passage Expeditions:
- Alaska’s Glacier Bay & Island Adventure is Alaskan Dream Cruises’ signature itinerary. The cruise features highlights of True Alaska in a convenient week-long timeframe, including premier wildlife viewing, remote wilderness exploration, a full day in Glacier Bay National Park, excursions in a charming fishing town and Alaska Native cultural immersion in the Tlingit village of Kake. This cruise is available through 15 departures on the Chichagof Dream and five departures on the Admiralty Dream from May 10, 2019 to Sept. 15, 2019, starting from $3,795 per person.
- The eight-night Alaska’s Inside Passage Sojourn is an extended itinerary that allows passengers to explore Southeast Alaska, from its northern to southern ends. This itinerary calls on a unique collection of rarely visited towns and Alaska Native villages where guests experience the three Southeast Alaska indigenous cultures—Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian. This itinerary is available through 10 sailings on the Alaskan Dream from May 10, 2019 to Sept. 15, 2019, with rates starting at $4,995 per person.
- Alaska’s Southeast Explorer adds two days and three compelling ports to everything included in the Alaska’s Inside Passage Sojourn. It offers the gold-rush town of Skagway, which features a ride aboard the White Pass and Yukon Route Railroad, as well as time in the beautiful community of Haines at the head of Chilkat Inlet and the charming fishing community of Petersburg. Alaska’s Southeast Explorer is available through four sailings on the Alaskan Dream. Sailings on this route are available May 26, June 29, July 25 and Aug. 20, starting from $6,895 per person.
- For an even more intimate adventure, the seven-night Alaska’s Islands, Whales & Glaciers aboard the 10-guest Misty Fjord expedition vessel is ideal for travelers seeking a higher level of activity, with more time spent in remote wilderness areas and no set routes. A knowledgeable captain and shore team determine the week’s route based on wildlife migrations, guest interests and weather. This expedition is available through 15 departures on the 10-person Misty Fjord from May 11, 2019 to Sept. 4, 2019, with rates starting at $4,595 per person.
- Become a True Alaskan family cruises will be based on the seven-night itinerary in 2019. Geared towards multi-generational groups and families to share the wonder of Alaska, these expeditions include an overnight stay in Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve. Voyages feature an onboard Youth Expedition Leader who leads activities, exploration, and educational programs about Alaska. This itinerary is available through three departures on the Chichagof Dream in June and July, starting at $4,795 per adult. Children age 15 and under receive 20 percent off.
- The five-night Alaska’s Spring Wilderness & Wildlife Safari shows guests the beauty of early spring in Southeast Alaska. The annual herring migration provides an abundance of wildlife viewing opportunities — humpback whales, eagles, sea otters, Stellar sea lions and more. Guests will explore the wilderness throughout Sitka Sound in search of adventure aboard the 10-passenger Misty Fjord. Five round-trip departures will be offered out of Sitka in March and April starting at $3,290 per person.

The five-ship fleet includes the Alaskan Dream, Admiralty Dream, Baranof Dream, Chichagof Dream and the Misty Fjord. These ships hold between 10 and 74 passengers.
A discount of $200-$300 per person for the new 2019 Inside Passage expedition cruises is offered to those who book by April 1, 2018.
