Norwegian Encore Caribbean Cruises Open for Sale Now
Norwegian Encore Caribbean cruises are officially on sale. Even though Norwegian’s newest ship won’t begin cruising until fall of 2019, they’re taking reservations now.
Norwegian Encore will be the cruise line’s fourth and final Breakaway-Plus class ship. For the ship’s inaugural season, Norwegian Encore will depart from Miami every Sunday for seven-night Eastern Caribbean cruises.
The first cruise is scheduled for November 17, 2019 and continues through an April 12, 2020 departure.
Norwegian Encore’s Eastern Caribbean cruises will first visit San Juan, Puerto Rico. Shore excursions include simply exploring Old San Juan right from the cruise pier. Tours to the Bacardi Rum distillery are fun as is discovering the hideaways and history of the imposing Castillo San Felipe del Morro. Next port call is St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Known for its picturesque beaches, amazing snorkeling locations and bountiful shopping options, it’s a beach-goers dream. The last port on these Norwegian Encore Caribbean cruises is the island of Tortola, in the British Virgin Islands.

“We are excited to reveal the ship’s new features and amenities over the next few months, and look forward to continuing to offer our guests the freedom and flexibility to design their ultimate cruise vacation aboard our newest ship,” said Andy Stuart, president and chief executive officer of Norwegian Cruise Line.
In January, Norwegian Encore official steel-cutting ceremony took place at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany. Norwegian Encore will make her debut in Miami in November 2019 to coincide with the scheduled completion of the new terminal at PortMiami, which will be dedicated to Norwegian Cruise Line.
