Royal Caribbean to sponsor 67th annual Tony Awards this weekend

Viewers get a behind the scenes peek and a cruise sale, too!

Royal Caribbean will once again partner with Broadway’s best of the best at the 67th annual Tony awards, broadcast Sunday, June 9 at 8pm EST.

Last year, as part of the Tony’s live telecast, a musical production number from the Broadway hit Hairspray was aired from the theater onboard the Oasis of the Seas to viewers around the world.

This year, there will be behind-the-scenes interviews and commentary from the nominees, performers and the presenters, courtesy of Royal Caribbean International.

Of course, none of this inside scoop stuff goes without a price. But this time, it’s the consumer that will save money. Royal Caribbean is having one of their “WOW”sales events and there are always some good deals to be had during these promotions. Book your new cruise vacation between June 10 and June 12, 2013 and cruise between September 1, 2013 and August 31, 2014 and you’ll receive up to $200 onboard credit per stateroom and pay a reduced deposit. The amount of the onboard credit depends upon the length of the cruise.

This second year of participation continues to highlight the line’s array of Broadway productions onboard its ships including Saturday Night Fever, Hairspray and Chicago: The Musical.
