Thank you for reading my article and for your question. Celebrity Cruises does not have a designated kosher galley so the meals are the frozen ones, certified glatt kosher. But there is an extensive selection to choose. Also, from my experience ordering frozen kosher meals, they tend to have a much lower sodium content than most main dishes served on the major cruise lines. Now that Crystal Cruises is back (bought by Abercrombie and Kent), I hope they keep their separate kosher kitchen on Crystal Serenity that they’ve had for years with everything cooked fresh. Hi, I would suggest that you or your travel agent contact Celebrity asap and see if it isn’t too late to request Glatt kosher meals. As far as I know, kosher meals must be ordered 60 days before the cruise begins. There’s a menu online but I don’t know if it is up-to-date. Just Google: celebrity cruises kosher menu and the pdf should be at the top of the results. If not, Celebrity can email or send a link to the current menu selections. Have a wonderful cruise!
