Norwegian Cruise Lines Reveals 2026 Spring & Summer Itineraries
Norwegian Cruise Line has unveiled its 2026 spring and summer itineraries, covering the Caribbean, Canada and New England, the Bahamas, Bermuda, and Alaska.
A press release states that the new schedule includes nearly 250 itineraries. Highlights include Norwegian’s return to Philadelphia and the arrival of the Norwegian Breakaway in Boston.
The 4,000-guest Norwegian Breakaway will be the largest ship to regularly depart from Boston, offering cruises to Bermuda. The Alaska season will feature four ships, including three of Norwegian’s largest vessels: the Norwegian Encore, Norwegian Joy, and Norwegian Bliss.
Other program highlights include regular short cruises to the Bahamas on the Norwegian Getaway, and the Norwegian Prima’s first summer program in the Caribbean.
The itineraries span 30 destinations across the Caribbean, Bermuda, Bahamas, Canada, New England, and Alaska, with an average of ten hours spent in each port.
Bermuda, Canada, and New England
After its inaugural season of Bermuda cruises from Philadelphia, the Norwegian Jewel will offer ten- and 11-day itineraries to Canada and New England from August 2026. Departing from Philadelphia and Québec City, these voyages will visit destinations such as Saguenay, Charlottetown, Halifax (Canada), Bar Harbor (Maine), and Boston.
Starting in April 2026, the Norwegian Breakaway will become the largest Norwegian vessel to operate out of Boston, with seven-day Bermuda voyages running through November. These voyages will feature an overnight stay at the Royal Naval Dockyard in Bermuda and a day in Halifax, Canada.
From late August to mid-October 2026, the Norwegian Breakaway will offer seven-day itineraries to Canada and New England, including stops at Bar Harbor (Maine), Saint John (New Brunswick), and Halifax (Nova Scotia).
The Norwegian Aqua will return to New York City for its second Bermuda season, offering five- and seven-day cruises with overnight stays at the Royal Naval Dockyard.
Caribbean and the Bahamas
In response to demand, Norwegian is expanding its short-cruise offerings with nearly 40 voyages to the Bahamas from Miami during spring and summer 2026. The three- and four-night sailings on the Norwegian Getaway will visit Nassau and Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian’s private island.
Nearing the end of 2025, Great Stirrup Cay will boast a newly constructed multi-ship pier to enhance the guest experience, according to Norwegian.
The Norwegian Prima will also offer Caribbean cruises from Florida, including island-hopping itineraries. This 2022-built ship will prolong its stay at Port Canaveral with seven-day cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean, visiting ports such as Montego Bay (Jamaica), George Town (Cayman Islands), and Puerto Plata (Dominican Republic).
Guests can book back-to-back cruises for an extended 14-day holiday in the Caribbean.
Alaska
Alaska’s 2026 season will kick off in late April with voyages running through October, departing from Seattle, Whittier (Alaska), and Vancouver (British Columbia). Norwegian’s newest ships—the Norwegian Encore, Norwegian Bliss, and Norwegian Joy—will offer programs in Alaska.
Sailing from Seattle’s Pier 66, the Norwegian Encore and Norwegian Bliss will provide seven-day voyages, while the Norwegian Joy will offer extended nine- to ten-day itineraries.
The Norwegian Jade will offer seven-day open-jaw sailings between Vancouver and Whittier, Alaska, with no days spent at sea. Passengers can also enhance their experience by adding an NCL Cruisetour to explore the interior of Alaska.
