There was a complaint from a guest onboard Carnival Breeze regarding the lack of compensation for missing the port. Carnival Cruise Line typically does not offer compensation for missing a port due to a storm.

Carnival Paradise’s itinerary departing from Tampa, Florida on July 4 has also been altered due to Hurricane Beryl. The ship will now sail to the Bahamas instead of Cozumel.

Hurricane Beryl, currently a Category 3 storm, is moving across the region with strong winds and heavy rainfall expected in the Yucatan peninsula. Cruise Maven extends thoughts to those affected by the storm.
