New Carnival Vista Class Ship

Last week, Carnival Cruise Line began construction on their third Vista-class ship, scheduled to debut in 2019. A traditional steel cutting ceremony was held at Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera, Italy. As yet, the new ship is still unnamed with the same going for its homeport, any design changes and itinerary. Carnival stated that all the information will be announced in the near future.

The new Vista-class ship will carry 3,934 passengers and is a sister ship to the Carnival Vista, the first of its class, that entered service in May 2016. The second Vista-class ship, Carnival Horizon, is still under construction at the same shipyard and will launch on April 2, 2018.
