Oceania Cruises’ newest cruise ship, Allura, was recently launched at the Fincantieri shipyard in Genoa, Italy. The ship, able to accommodate 1,200 passengers, will now undergo outfitting before entering service on July 18, 2025, with a trip from Trieste, Italy to Athens, Greece.

After a season in the Mediterranean, Allura will sail to Canada and New England from Miami, followed by a unique four-day trip from New York City in September 2025. Oceania Cruises President, Frank A. Del Rio, expressed excitement for the progress of Allura and the enhanced offerings it will bring to the company.

Some highlights of Allura include five specialty dining restaurants, spacious staterooms, a new crêperie, a high ratio of chefs to guests, and an expansive Culinary Center. Allura will be the eighth ship in Oceania’s fleet.
