Another Carnival Ship Will Get a Total Makeover
Carnival Victory refurbishment is great news, especially for food-lovers.
In case you missed it, Carnival is in the midst of an eight-year, $2 billion fleet-wide refurbishment and enhancement program. Just announced on Tuesday, Carnival Victory refurbishment is scheduled to begin next year when the ship goes into dry dock in Cadiz, Spain from March 18 – April 26, 2020.
In short, Carnival Victory will undergo a 38-day, $200 million renovation. When it’s all done, the Victory will emerge with a new look and will include a slew of beverage and entertainment innovations plus dining, bar and stateroom updates. And the cherry on top? A new name: Carnival Radiance.
Earlier this year, during a less lengthy Carnival Victory refurbishment, the ship was outfitted with their BlueIguana Cantina, Alchemy Bar and Guy’s Burger Joint. After this upcoming dry dock, the ship will also have Carnival’s signature steakhouse, Fahrenheit 555, Guy’s Pig & Anchor BBQ Smokehouse, Cucina del Capitano and a larger, full-service Bonsai Sushi. There will also be the new Limelight Lounge – home to the Punchliner Comedy Club, and a RedFrog Pub.

Waterworks will feature a 203-foot-long AquaTunnel slide and Carnival’s signature 212-foot-long Twister slide along with a 75-gallon PowerDrencher tipping bucket and kiddie area.
